Academic Assistance

Detroit School of Arts believes that every student can achieve and succeed!  To achieve this goal, Detroit School of Arts offers the following programs:

After-school tutoring programs. Tutoring is offered in Mathematics, ELA, Science, and Social Studies to help students develop and/or master skills.

Schedule (Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 3:30-4:30 pm

Credit recovery

Credit Recovery offers the opportunity for students in grades 9-12 to complete courses and earn credits toward graduation or promotion requirements. The District uses Enginuity, an online platform that enables districts to customize courses and provides teachers with the ability to monitor students’ progress.
